Simple Joys – Traffic Lights

What’s up with the traffic lights? Really, nothing much.

Today, he drove me home after seeing the movie, Hancock. As we reach the crossing, he expressed disappointment as the stoplight switched from green to red. I told him, “Did you know that I like it when the traffic light switches to red?” “Oh, really?” he replied, “Why?” I held his hand and told him, “Because that means I can spend some more time with you.” He kissed my hand as we waited for the go signal.
